Blue Zone Chef G is a private chef in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. This page says what we keep about the families we cook for, why, who sees it, where it is stored, how long we keep it, and how to have it corrected or deleted.
What we keep, and why
Inquiries, bookings, allergies and diets, and payments: names, contact details, dates, the house, children’s ages and notes. We keep them to answer you, to plan and cook your meals safely, and to keep account of what was paid.
Inquiries reach us by WhatsApp, by email and through the form on this site. All of them are kept in the same private planner, under the same rules.
Who sees it
- Chef G.
- His technical assistant, Jason, who administers the system.
- His cooks, for the day’s meals, by WhatsApp.
Where it is stored
In Chef G’s private planner on Cloudflare, whose servers may be outside Costa Rica. Backups go to Google Drive, in Chef G’s own account. Messages travel through WhatsApp (Meta) and email (Google).
Never sold
We never sell your information, and we never share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
- Personal details: 24 months after your stay.
- Payment records: for as long as tax law requires.
- Inquiries that never become a booking: 6 months.
- Backups: removed within 14 days of a deletion.

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Write to hola@bluezonechefg.com.

This site sets no cookies and uses no trackers. It only remembers your language, on your own device.
